Local rules that change the price
- • Iceland prices are estimates: coach operators quote each trip individually, so the final price is confirmed on request.
- • Highland F-roads (Landmannalaugar, Þórsmörk) need special 4×4 mountain buses and open only from about late June to September.
- • Winter weather can close roads at short notice; long south-coast days may need a flexible schedule.
- • VAT on coach hire is 11%; a distance charge applies to heavy vehicles from 2026.
